Rumours on the internet suggest that the folks at Research in Motion (RIM) have been working overtime on preparing the Roadmap for the new version of BlackBerry OS – 6.0

The red carpet has been rolled out by Mplayit to announce the top mobile games in its collection. Mplayit is the maker of the immensely popular Mobile App Catalog that powers Facebook and lets users recommend and rate its games and apps through Twitter and Facebook.

In its first ever developer conference at San Jose, California, on Tuesday, Verizon Wireless announced its own V cast application store as a direct competitor to Apple and its App Store. The new application is expected to come out in the forth quarter of 2009.

Etisalat is an UAE telecoms firm with over 145,000 users. Recently, it has prompted an update by text. The update was supposedly aimed at improving performance. However, crashes started to appear right after many users downloaded and installed it. Battery life was also significantly reduced. RIM (Research in Motion), the maker of Blackberry, stated that this update was not developed, tested or authorized by them.
