Google Buzz – Google’s latest social networking tool is now available as an iPhone app called ‘Buzzie’. Buzzie is available for download from the Apple iTunes store.

It seems that the Apple App Store has finally pulled the plug on all sexual and porno apps. Developers behind such apps have been receiving notifications from Apple that their apps are being removed from the App Store due to a ‘new policy change’.

A couple of weeks ago, the largest 3G wireless operator in USA, Verizon, announced the launch of a new app store: the Widget Bazaar. This storefront is aimed at providing new widgets and applications for its Fios TV clients.

In its first ever developer conference at San Jose, California, on Tuesday, Verizon Wireless announced its own V cast application store as a direct competitor to Apple and its App Store. The new application is expected to come out in the forth quarter of 2009.
