Microsoft has officially announced pricing and availability for its long awaited Surface table, after maintaining almost complete silence and preventing any leaks (unlike Apple) about its Windows RT Surface tablets since first announcing them in June.

The  £399  base model will give you 32GB of storage, but won’t come with a Touch Cover which doubles up as keyboard, £479 will get you a 32GB model with a black Touch Cover, and £559 a 64GB unit, also with a black Touch Cover.

Touch Covers in black, white, magenta, cyan, and red will sell for £99. Type Covers—a clickable keyboard with actual key switches—will come in black only, and cost £109.
