The rumors of an upcoming september release of the iPod touch are going strong. Apple will most likely not disappoint fans and release a new wave of iPod models with new hardware, a front-facing camera, and even HD video recording capabilities. It may carry the same A4 chip that Apple loves.

What backs the rumor, are the pictures circulating the Internet which are purportedly authentic iPod touch parts that have initially turned up on a number of Chinese websites, which has a hole on the front of the device that’s presumably for a front-facing camera.

Of course it's going to have the A4 like the ipad
But seriously, if Apple can keep the price on this thing below $200, I can really see it exploding. If they allow VoIP on it, then it could really seriously take the place of a lower end dumb phone.
