Apple iPhone 4 which was announced yesterday is not going the iPad way with U.S. getting a preferential launch with UK customers having to wait for few weeks. O2 UK has become the first UK mobile carrier to confirm it’ll have the iPhone 4 ready for purchase on the launch day of  June 24.

Apart from O2, other existing iPhone carriers in UK namely  Orange and Vodafone have confirmed they will be offering the latest phone from Apple,not surprisingly, they  will announce pricing near  the release date  of 24 June. The Carphone Warehouse which stocks  iPhone models  will also be continuing its relationship with the Phone by carrying the handsets on behalf of all the three networks.
