While Apple has been going gaga over the sleek design of iPad and how it will be a game changer for the publishing industry, one question has been haunting me since the launch of iPad – Where are the iPad Apps?

Apps played a key role in monumental success of iPhone and nobody knows it better than the folks at Apple. Unlike the iPhones, there are no iPads available for development and testing of iPad apps. To make the scenario worse, there are virtually no guidelines by Apple regarding how iPad apps must be written and how they are supposed to work. The possibility of having native iPhone apps run on iPad seamlessly without any issues sounds like a distant dream and in my opinion, it’s too good to be true.

After all to be a True Game Changer, the iPad does need Apps which can rewrite the rules of the game!
