We are all very curious about the new Microsoft Zune HD. I can’t wait to get my hands on the new gadget and test it! Of course, you will find a review here…once I manage to get it. On Thursday, Microsoft confirmed some of its secrets related to its future Zune HD. It disclosed information regarding price, availability, and capacities.

The Zune HD will not be a cheap device, with prices of $219.99 for the black touch-screen media player. This version has a capacity of 16GB. The other version, with a capacity of 32GB, will cost $289.99 in “platinum” color. However, the pricing was already all over the Internet (mainly via Best Buy and Amazon). The launch date, September 15, was no surprise either, as it was noted as part of a retailer’s display.

Microsoft is ready to start receiving pre-orders at this time. Starting September 15, it will be able to send Zunes in 5 colors, through their Zuneoriginals.net website. Buyers will also have the option to have one out of 10 available engravings by guest artists on the back of the Zune HD.

Some of the future device’s features are OLED display (organic light-emitting diode display), multi-touch Web browser, and the ability to use the Zune HD as a source for a HDTV (video sent will be in 720p and users must have a dock, sold separately). We all await the new Zune HD to see exactly what it has to offer!
