Google’s plan to take on Amazon and Ebay were earlier reported by The Wall Street Journal, Google is now reportedly preparing the launch of a same-day delivery service, Google Shopping Express according toTechCrunch.
TechCrunch’s report says that the Google’s service would cost between $10 to $15 less than Amazon Prime’s service of free two-day shipping for $79 per year.

Apple and Samsung accountes for 52 percent of all global smartphone sales in fourth quarter of 2012 according to a report by Gartner. Overall, mobile phone sales declined across the globe by 1.7 percent last year, the last time when sales fell were in 2009.

Apple iPhone is not doing as bad as the reports suggests, Apple sold 17.7 million iPhones in US during the fourth quarter of 2012 according to a from report from Strategy Analytics’ Wireless Device Strategy Samsung,came second at 16.8 million mobile phones in the same quarter.

Blackberry maker Research in Motion dumped their name and picked up the brand name which made took them to the pinnacle of mobile success, they’ve chosen to change their name and branding to reflect who they really are, they will be known simply as “BlackBerry” going forward.

Apple maybe planning to introduce a smaller Apple TV according to some FCC documents first spotted by Engadget, which reveals that Apple has been working on an updated Apple TV device with a slightly smaller casing. 5 millimeters smaller (0.2”) on each side.

Surprise, Huawei had the third largest market share in the global smartphone industry in the fourth quarter. While the Chinese manufacturer trailed Samsung and Apple, it did unveil the Huawei Ascend P1 S, which has a 6.68mm thin design to be the thinnest smartphone made.

Apple presented its quarterly earnings report for Fiscal Year 1, 2013 and the company has reported a precedent $54.5 billion in revenue for the quarter ending December 29, 2012. Nokia recorded profit of €439 million ($585 million) in the fourth quarter of 2012, according to recently released financial reports.
