According to a report on Operating Systems from  NetMarketShare.com  Windows 7 is way ahead Apple’s Mac OS X l and its predecessor Windows Vista  for the fourth consecutive month.

Windows 7 now commands 14.46% of the market usage share (up from 13.70% in June), compared to Vista’s 14.34% (down from 14.68%), the first month that 7 has had a greater usage share than Vista. XP continues to dominate with 61.87% (down from 62.43 in June).

    Totally ridiculous to compare MacOS with Windows… Apple used to have a 5% share of the market leaving Microsoft with a virtual monopoly – In July 2010 Windows 7 surpassed Windows Vista in global usage share. However, Windows XP is still the leading operating system by far, with double the share of Vista and 7 combined. Apple has however these days got over 10% market share… doubling it's previous share from pre-iphone days.
