The LG GW620 InTouch Max marks LG’s foray into launching handsets running on Google’s Android platform. By all means, it’s an entry level phone and especially suited to consumers who have a tight budget to buy a smartphone.

The InTouch Max is amazingly small and probably the smallest Android based QWERTY slider phone worldwide. It has a slide out keyboard, a 3.5 mm headphone jack and a microSD card slot all neatly packed together into a sleek and ergonomic design.

However, it’s hard to explain why the InTouch Max runs Android 1.5 when it’s already outdated and all new phones are being launched on the much improved Android 2.0 platform. The resistive touchscreen of InTouch leaves a lot to be desired and a capacitive version would have done more justice to the overall packaging of the phone.

If you are looking for an Android phone but do not want to spend too heavily, LG InTouch Max is just perfect for you. Beware HTC Tattoo and T-Mobile Pulse, InTouch Max has arrived! You can get it from play for £269.99
