We have all read the reviews. We all know what Windows 7 should be. And now, it is here! You can order it now and they will either send it to your doorstep or allow you to download it from the…Microsoft Store! Yes, your ears are not fooling you. The new Windows 7 is available in the Brand new Microsoft Store. There are also Microsoft retail stores opening in a number of locations.
“Our first retail location opens tomorrow at 10am in Scottsdale followed by our second store in Mission Viejo on October 29th. In fact, we already had 4 fans standing in line at 4pm earlier this afternoon in anticipation of the opening!” – Microsoft. And their store is bringing some goodies! “On the new online Microsoft Store, we’ve added a bunch of new products, including Windows 7 PCs as well as select 3rd party software and accessories. And let’s not forget a ton of gaming products that have been added including a bunch of the top selling Xbox 360 titles.”
Microsoft has invested a lot of time and money into this. It looks like the website is online since last November. They kept improving it based on usability studies, web analytics, and user feedback. Although marketing is very important, the new Microsoft Store promises a lot of success. In the meanwhile, “go check our new store out, find information about our new retail locations, and while you’re at it, get your copy of Windows 7!.” Good luck!
